Home Learning During Lockdown
As you all know, following government guidelines, school is not open for most pupils at the moment. We would like to say how proud we are of everyone in Year 6 for the way you have engaged with your home learning activities. Not only have you been working hard on the daily activities posted on Seesaw, but you have also been accessing the fantastic online learning platforms and resources available to you. These include:
Welcome to Year 6!
In Year 6 our teachers are Mrs Houghton and Mr Wilde and our teaching assistant is Miss Pilling. We have an open door policy here in Year 6, so please feel free to call in, after school, if you need to talk to us about anything. If we can’t see you immediately, we will arrange a time as soon as possible that is convenient for you.
**Our PE days this half term are Tuesday and Wednesday. Please make sure that you have your P.E. kit in school. We have character building exercises with Tommy on Tuesday and football on a Wednesday.
Reading bags continue to go home on a Wednesday and must be returned the following Monday. Homework goes home on a Monday and returned on a Friday. Spelling test will be completed on a Friday morning.
SATs booster sessions will take place on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Children to arrive at 8am for drinks and snacks before starting booster session at 8:10am.
Just some of the things we have been doing at home during lockdown
