Welcome to all of our new starters

Here you will find information about starting school  in our Nursery and Reception classes.

We are delighted that you have chosen to join our school community and we look forward to working in close partnership with you over the coming years. We see ourselves as one big family here at St John Vianney Catholic Primary School and we can’t wait for you to join us. If you are a brand new member of our school family, we are looking forward to starting this journey together with you. If you already have children with us or who have previously been with us, we look forward to welcoming you back. Starting school is such an exciting time but can also be a little worrying and daunting sometimes too. On this page you will find some information to help you to prepare your child for coming to our school and also to help things to run smoothly in the coming months.

This page aims to help you to keep up to date with communications from school and will help your child to become more familiar with the staff and surroundings that they will be an integral part of in no time at all. If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact school and ask to speak to Mrs Crosby, the EYFS leader. She will be able to answer your questions and chat to you about anything going forward.
